Rating Profile
Let's face it, this is entirely arbitrary, but I try to take into account factors such as elevation, terrain, potential weather conditions, and the overall course setup. These are based on course setup and conditions in past seasons. I have run most of these courses at least once, but I haven't done so every year. However, given the consistent terrain and weather during that time of year, there is a certain amount of consistency year to year. Feel free to leave a comment if you have a different opinion, and I will update the rating if it makes sense. DekFit and Stadion are not rated since they are essentially indoor events.
I've used color coding to organize the ratings into easier, less difficult and difficult.
1-3 Relatively flat, non-technical terrain, moderate weather, sea-level, little elevation gain
4-7 Some elevation, some technical terrain, variable weather, some altitude gain, reasonable weather
7-10 Major levation, technical terrain, problematic weather, significant altitude gain or consistent crazy weather.
