What Makes the Jacksonville Super/Sprint/Trail Weekend a Must-Run Event?

We're just over a week away from the Jacksonville, Florida Spartan Race. It's the first race on the east coast in 2025. Here is a link to last year's race, courtesy of OCR Kings, and five reasons to lace them up this year:

1. Ideal for beginners: flat, with expansive open areas for running on a working ranch.

2. Launches the National Championship Series, with a lively festival atmosphere.

3. Convenient logistics with a large parking area and numerous local hotels.

4. Variety of race options: a Spartan 10k (Super) and a Spartan 5k (Sprint) on Saturday, along with a Spartan Trail 10k and Half Marathon on Sunday. There's even an additional Spartan Sprint on Sunday, just for fun.

5. Travel to an area with a rich history that combines incredible geology and a rich history of pirates that shaped the region.

Last years Spartan Super and Sprint had some fast finish times for age group and elite racers. Simliar times should be posted in 2025
